No,
you can't!” Morgan was finally released as Mustafa was taken
into the hospital. “Let me in there! You can't do this to him,
he's innocent!” Hot tears streamed down Morgan's face, knowing
she was losing the battle and knowing how Mustafa was being treated.
She walked over to the curb and sat down as she wiped tears from her
face, and John came to her side and sat next to her.

We'll
figure this out, Morgan. Don't worry.” He didn't know what to
tell her, and personally, he didn't believe there was anything they
could do to help Mustafa. He wouldn't tell her that though. She
crossed her arms over her knees and stared out into the horizon, and
watched the sun begin to disappear behind it. If she weren't so
worried, she would have appreciated the beauty, but even that didn't
bring a smile to her beautiful face.

A
word, mate?” Finlay appeared in front of them, and his question
was directed to John. Morgan didn't even pay attention as John nodded
and stood, and followed Finlay to the vehicle. “So, how good
are ye at yer job?”

*****

“I'm
so sorry this happened to you.” Morgan put her hand over
Mustafa's in an attempt to comfort the sleeping man. He had been
sound asleep for over two hours, and the police had allowed her to
visit him, as long as he remained handcuffed to the bed. It was a
sight Morgan hated to see, but at the moment, there was nothing she
could do, except be there for him. “I wish there was something
I could do for you.” Morgan slipped the photo of his parents
into his hand as he slept.

Hey,”
John surprised Morgan from behind and she jumped in her chair.
“Sorry, didn't mean to startle you.” She offered a small
smile, and told him it was alright. “I've got another job to so
I...uh...I wanted to say goodbye.”

You're
leaving?” John nodded, and Morgan stood, the realization
washing over her quickly. She had never had the chance to talk to him
and ask him why he was there or who sent him. “Who hired you?”

Someone
who just wanted to make sure you were safe.” That's all John
would offer right then, as he was sure Finlay would tell her anyway.

Morgan
knew she wasn't going to get the information from him, so she
resolved to giving him a proper goodbye. Truth was, she couldn't be
mad at him for doing his job, especially when his job was to look
after her. The person who hired John though, would hear from her
whenever she found out. “Thank you, for looking after me, and
for helping with him.” Morgan pointed at Mustafa and John
smiled down at the sleeping man. He had a large cast from his toes to
his knee, and enough medication to keep him sleeping for another few
hours.

No
problem, Morgan.” John knew, if he still had a job with Sean,
he would see Morgan again, but for right then, his new job was
priority. John passed Finlay as one man left, and another joined
Morgan. “Take care, Finlay.”

Aye,
we'll talk soon.” Morgan didn't hear the brief exchange, but
smiled up at Finlay when he sat next to her.

You
stink.” Morgan nudged him with her shoulder, but was too tired
to smile again. Truth was, they both were in desperate need of a
shower and a meal. Finlay nodded, he couldn't agree more, and he
intended to take care of them both.

He's
going to be sleeping for a few more hours, love. I got us both a room
not five minutes from here. Let's go get cleaned up, aye?”
Morgan was instantly brought back to the first night that she'd met
Finlay. Almost every word he spoke had amazed her, and that moment
was no different.

You
said, aye.” Morgan put her head against his shoulder and
Finlay's heart nearly beat through his large chest. He held her for
several moments as they allowed their bodies to simply rest. Morgan
wasn't ready to leave, but the decision was made for her before she
could speak up.

You
have to go now.” A stern voice sounded behind them, and a woman
who clearly wasn't going to tolerate interference stood with her hand
on her hip as she waited for the two to leave. Mustafa was still
filthy, except for his leg, and the nurse intended to bathe him
before the doctor checked on him again that night. Morgan and Finlay
nodded, and quietly left the room.

But
just so we're clear, I'll be back in a few hours.” Morgan
didn't wait for an answer as she flipped her rat nest of hair to the
side, squared her shoulders, and walked out of the room. Finlay
covered his smile as he nodded towards the woman, and followed Morgan
out of the hospital.

I
see Julianne has rubbed off on ye.” He couldn't help but admire
her strength, and her ability to be a strong woman under the
circumstances. Morgan spun around, right outside the hospital doors.
Her arms crossed her chest and she looked up at the man that had
caused her every emotion imaginable.

Every
person I know has rubbed off on me.” She took a slow deliberate
step toward him, a slow smile took over her sand covered face. “And
let me tell you what I've picked up from you.” She stood on her
toes, bringing their lips closer. “I learned...,” she put
her hand on his waist, slowly moving it down, and against his
manhood, “how to make someone want something,” her hand
gently moved along his length, as she stared into his eyes, “truly,
want something,” her words were barely above a whisper as her
fingers wrapped around his growing cock, “and to beg for it,”
her forehead dropped against his chest as she watched her own hand
bring his large dick to life, “and....”

Love,
let's go.” Finlay could barely think, and he was growing more
willing to take her right there, on the sidewalk, with not a care in
the world.

Beg.
Beg me, Fin. Beg me for what you want.” His cock jerked against
her hand, his heart pounded against her forehead, and his breath
tickled the top of her head as he attempted to gain control. “Beg
me.” He took a deep breath and Morgan sighed when his fingers
dug into her hips.

Fook...
please. Morgan, please.. let's go to the room. I need ye, love.”
Morgan smiled against his shirt, and released him from her grasp.

Nah,
I don't feel like it.” She spun around and started walking,
flipping her hair to the side once more. Yes, finally... Finlay
Campbell had learned exactly what had rubbed off on Morgan. To want
something, and to be denied. It didn't matter if it was sex, or
simply being told the truth, the end result was still the same.

Ye'll
pay for that, Morgan.” Finlay finally began walking, keeping a
safe distance behind. Morgan looked over her shoulder, and finally
smiled widely.

Maybe...but
it sure feels
fookin'
good right now!”

Chapter
Eleven

I'm
sure Finlay will tell her.” John paced inside the airport,
hoping that his call with Sean didn't end badly. Sean also paced, but
it was within the confines of his own kitchen.

Morgan
knew that John was hired to watch her, and Finlay had just made an
ass out of all of them by following John. Then again, he would have
done the same thing under the circumstances. “I'll sort out the
business with Fin.” It had been a long three days for Sean, not
knowing what was going on, and the news wasn't exactly what he'd
hoped for. “The man you're trying to help,” he ran his
hand down his face as he attempted to catch up with the whole ordeal,
“do ya think he's innocent?” Sean at least had to know
more about the situation, and why his employee was no longer watching
Morgan.

Yes,
I do. I've worked all over the world, and it has every element of
corruption that I know of. Trust me, I've heard stories of men like
Mustafa taking the fall for...,”

John?”
Sean waited, not knowing if the call had ended. John's eyes widened
at the memory of a case he worked on the year prior.

I...
I need to call you back.” John ended the call and sat down
slowly, as he tried to think of the details surrounding the similar
case.

A
young man in Columbia had gone missing, and John was hired to find
him. Unfortunately, the authorities found him before John did, and
the similarities were undeniable. A young woman had been murdered,
and the man John was looking for had been arrested for the crime. An
investigation had been started, but stopped suddenly. John stayed on
the case, per the family's request, and found that the lead
investigator was covering for his nephew who had actually murdered
the girl. “Is that what happened to you too?” He stared
out the window as his flight to Madrid was announced. John took a
deep breath, pushing the images of the young man that he couldn't
save from his mind. He had been given another chance to set things
right, and he hoped that this time, he wouldn't have to tell anyone
that he'd failed.

On
the flight, John wrote his notes and prepared himself for the
investigation.
He's an amateur. Probably never committed a crime
like this before. He's taking cash...probably poor. He never stayed
at the resort, it would have been expensive, but he knew what window
led to the office. He would have to be a local, very close to the
resort. He knew when they were counting the daily cash. He... knew.
John leaned back in his seat and closed his eyes. He had narrowed
down the chase to only one possibility.
He worked there.

*****

How
long are ye going to be mad at me?” Finlay stood on his side of
their adjoining rooms and leaned against the door frame as he
listened to Morgan walk through her room. She had refused to talk to
him, even when he walked her to the room. Finlay had also arranged to
have her luggage brought to the hotel from Mustafa's tour guides, but
even that information wasn't forcing a reaction from her. “I'll
let ye know when yer bags arrive.” Silence.

Morgan
smiled with each word he spoke. She wanted to answer him, but her
willpower to remain quiet felt wonderful. She was stronger than she
thought, and the next move was up to her. That, she decided, was a
nice change of pace when it came to Finlay.

The
hot shower that she'd longed for was everything she needed and more.
She stood under the water, allowing it to pound against the top of
her head to begin removing the small desert that she'd been carrying
around in her golden locks. She thought of Finlay, and how she loved
his strength. “But sometimes,” she whispered, “you
need to love mine.” Morgan's eyes closed as she massaged the
hotel shampoo into her long hair. It smelled like coconut, of course,
and it was soothing enough to make her yawn loudly into the otherwise
silent room.

Her
body drained quickly of any energy that she had held on to, and she
thought of Mustafa as she lathered her body. He was most likely still
sleeping, but what he would have to go through when he was taken back
to Madrid was heart breaking. “I'll try, Mustafa. I promise,
I'll try to help you.”

Finlay
had also taken a shower, but was in and out much faster than Morgan.
The moment he wrapped a towel around his body, the men were at his
door with Morgan's luggage. They'd even gathered the few things she
left remaining with Bonnie. Finlay tipped them well, and brought her
things into his room.

He
stared at her bags, and a sadness filled him that he wasn't quite
ready for. There, in front of him, was Morgan's entire life. Flying
from one place to another, living out of suitcases, and always
smiling at the life she led. “I doona know how ye do it, Love.”
Hopefully, he thought, he would finally find a way to put an end to
her profession. He'd tried once before, but all he managed to do was
insult her. But that was before... before his heart broke with every
moment that they were apart. “I need ye to be mine.” He
knew she wouldn't be ready for such a thing anytime soon, but he
would do his best to make a plan and make sure Morgan would always be
safe.

Morgan
stepped out of the shower and wrapped her body in a thick robe and
towel dried her hair before making her way to the bed. “Oh god,
this is amazing.” It felt wonderful to be in an actual bed, and
a part of her felt like she could lie there for several days and be
perfectly fine. “Mmm.” She rolled to her stomach and
spread her arms and legs out wide, until she resembled a starfish on
the side of a fish tank.

What
would you like to eat?” Finlay pressed his ear to the door,
waiting for a reply. Morgan looked up and smiled, but shook her head
silently and laid it back down on the bed. She didn't have to answer
him yet, nor did she have to socialize. “Morgan, ye have to
eat.” More silence. Finlay began knocking, and finally, Morgan
rolled to her back, and to an upright position.
