“This is some kind of a hallucination.” Yelled Grant,” How do I know these guys here are even real?  I don’t believe anything you say.”

“That’s been you all’s problem all along.  Well, don’t say I didn’t try-- again.  I let you all simmer here for about more thirty years. Then I give you all another chance to leave.”  He got up to leave. “Ciao. You won’t believe how short twenty years in hell is in Heaven.  Got a Judgment at midnight. Don’t worry! That’s four hundred years in Hell.”

                                          Chapter Forty

I have never dated an American girl.  Not one has ever shown interest in me.  I have dated girls in Asia and Europe.  They respond to me as if I was normal.

American girls have said wistfully in my presence:

“All the good men are either married or gay.”

Yet what all American women want is bad boys,   No. what all American women really want is a serial killer that is now a lifer.  Nothing turns on American girl then a guy killing girl after girl.  She fantasizes she will go to a prison where a psycho killer resides. She will transcend the prison wall.  Then she will live happily with the pscho killer and be married to him forever.  But American women can’t do this. So they end up marrying some random guy all the while thinking about the psycho killer all the time.

Question: How does a guy get all the American girls to falling love with him?

Answer: Help his brother bomb the Boston Marathon.  Then they can ow and ah at his portrait on the cover of Rolling Stones or as the iconic seventies band Dr. Hook’s noted:

Ha, ha, ha, I don't believe it

Da, da, ah, ooh, don't touch me

Hey, Ray!

Hey, Sugar!

Tell them who we are ...

Well, we're big rock singers

We've got golden fingers

And we're loved everywhere we go (that sounds like us)

We sing about beauty and we sing about truth

For ten-thousand dollars a show (right)

We take all kinds of pills that give us all kind of thrills

But the thrill we've never known

Is the thrill that'll get ya when you get your
picture

On the cover of the Rolling Stone

(Rolling Stone) Wanna see my picture on the cover

(Stone)Wanna buy five copies for my mother (yeah)

(Stone)Wanna see my
smilin' face

On the cover of the Rolling Stone (that's a very, very, good idea)

I got a freaky ole lady name a cocaine Katy

Who embroideries on my jeans

I got my poor old grey haired daddy

Drivin' my limousine

Now, it's all designed to blow our minds

But our minds won't really be blown

Like the blow that'll get ya when you get your picture

On the cover of the Rolling Stone

(Rolling Stone) Wanna see our pictures on the cover

(Stone) Wanna buy five copies for our mothers (yeah)

(Stone) Wanna see my smilin' face

On the cover of the Rolling Stone

(Hey, I know how, rock and roll!)

[Freaky Guitar Break]

(Ah, that's beautiful)

We got a lot of little teenage blue-eyed groupies

Who do anything we say

We got a genuine Indian Guru

Who's teaching us a better way

We got all the friends that money can buy

So we never have to be alone

And we keep getting richer but we can't get our picture

On the cover of the Rolling Stone

(Rolling Stone) Wanna see my picture on the cover

(Stone) Wanna buy five copies for my mother (I want one!)

(Stone) Wanna see my smilin' face

On the cover of the Rolling Stone

On the cover of the Rolling Stone

(Man, I don't know why we ain't on the cover, Baby)

(We're beautiful people)

(I ain't kiddin', why, we would make a beautiful cover

(Fresh shot, right up front, man)

(I can see it now, we'll be up on the front)

(
Smilin', man ... ahh, beautiful!)

This is true for fundamentalist Christians too.

I walked away from Monumento, a landmark of Caloocan, a city in the province of Metro Manila, Philippines.

Crowded Headlights illuminating the night.   Large windows revealed businesses in the storefronts.  American and Filipino franchise names lit up in neon. I passed by countless establishments unnoticeably. I was in a daze.

There she was. She sat in a restaurant. Beauty in the mist of the mundane.

She was talking to other people in a booth.   Her looks stood out so among the rest.  This was it. Overwhelmed by her looks I was drawn to her.  I went in the Restaurant.  I sat down at a table.  A drink was served.   I sat there waiting.  Nothing happened.  Why did I think anything would?  I could never make the first move. Soon it seemed fruitless. I rose and made my way out.

The girl that attracted me to go inside now turned her head towards me and said to my back. “Please stay.” in English.  I was the only non-Filipino so I assumed she was directing her attention to me.

I looked at the street outside as jeepneys rolled down the street.  At the moment the night sky looked down on this building.  The
left wall view stopped while the girl fixed her eyes on me.  The right wall saw the same view from the opposite point of view.

The girl did not stop talking her to companions.  I must be hearing imaginary things. I walked out alone to finish my life.  The girl never knew I noticed her.

The moment staggered, go out Eric.  No, stay.

      “What's your nam
e?” This same incredibly beautiful girl continued in English.

From down the street you could see me in dream like state.  From up the street you view a man who might be hearing voices that
were beautiful lush’s voices, voices from the goddess of beauty. Voices that the entire world would say that this man was so disabled he could not be with the one who had that voice. It would be unfair to the entire world to waste her affection on the likes of me.

I turned toward her.  I said “Eric.”

“Have a seat.”  Her friends vacated the booth.  I sat down across her.  “My name is Noeme.”

Fog clouded my mine.  I could not pay attention to the conversation. She talked and I probably talked too. I don’t know. I don’t remember if I did.  I was so distracted by her.

“Do you want to go on a date? “

      “Okay.”  Now I was awake.

“Meet me at Chow King in the Grand Central Market at noon, Okay”

      “Okay”

“It's late. I’ll go home now, Bye”

      “Bye.”

She took me by the hand at Chow King.  I ordered the meals.  She was full of questions that I answered as we ate together.

We took in a Jackie Chan Movie.  It was in Chinese. Something about taking care of a baby.   My concentration was on twenty
five year old Noeme.  We were entirely intertwined through the movie.  Hi. I’m not Eric Berg.  Nor I am Frank Einstein. I don’t know who this guy is making out with this gorgeous woman but I reside inside the mind of this unknown man.

I scanned Noeme’s photograph of her portrait into a symmetry website that analyzed physical attractiveness.  Her score was one point 0.  Her looks scored perfect.

On our second date, I invited her to visit Intremuros:  a living fortress Museum.  We rode a taxi.  Fortunately the driver acted fairly and turned on the meter. When we arrived there in the middle of the city of Manila. She was uncomfortable.  She wanted to go to my hotel room. In my hotel she indicated that this where we needed to stay.

At my hotel room Noeme stood before me.  The room danced around in cerebration.  It looked from all angles--swirling turning. Glorify the glory that is Noeme.  Her silk long black hair, her perfect shapely supple body. Her beautiful face.  Young and taut.   As if a camera pranced swaying around her body showing its audience what the audience wanted for themselves.

I walked around her.  I took her hand.   We turned and turned and blended together.  Molded as one. Our faces, torsos, legs meshed together.  Splendor in the grass, tender, lovely belle noche, endless love, love story, Casablanca, forever young, a time for us, we’ll always have Paris.  You know how to whistle just pucker up and blow. A kiss is but kiss as time goes by. You’re beautiful it’s true.

I woke up in a wheelchair after being shot.  Noeme’s a blur.  But then my focus caresses her gorgeous face. A man is about to shoot me but he falls to reveals behind him Noeme with a rifle to save me. I looked back at her from the train Noeme is running towards me tears flowing down her face. I reached out and grabbed and kissed her. I take photographs of Noeme as a bride in a country church in romantic France. She falls in my arms.   Falling to my knees in the crashing Pacific waves.   Then falling on Noeme; caressing and kissing.   Dancing gloriously with Noeme. Romping in a Paris ballroom, her with a beautiful hoop skirt and bodice that reveals supple breasts. Desperately finding Noeme in the dark in the ocean the most beautiful woman that never grows old. I can’t believe it.  I actually did it.  I married Jenifer Jones. Wow!

From then on Noeme never left me.

She told me that she was married to someone else, but had left him six month ago because he beat her.  It was next to impossible to get a divorce in the Philippines. Right there in that room, we declared that we are married in the sight of God.  A few months later, she sailed to province of Antique.  She gave her Mother-in law three hundred United States Dollars as payment for taking care of her two year old daughter, Verlyn Rose, called Mutyah (Tagalog for princess).   Then she took the child unbeknownst to her ex.  Neither the Ex nor the mother-in-law ever saw Mutyah again.  At forty seven I became a father for the first time.

She told me as we lay in bed at Sogo hotel that she had worked for her uncle as a maid. From the age of nine to fifteen he constantly raped her.  As a result, she had become pregnant at fifteen.  She left school to have her daughter never to return. When she told her parents how she got pregnant they did not believe her and her mother twisted her arm.  She ran away and spent two days in the dense forest near her isolated town.

She came back home to deliver the baby.  Her mother claimed to be the mother and the child was raised by an aunt.

She could not tolerate her home so she took off to live Manila working there from sixteen on. She was a maid.  Again the owner of home, who was a police officer, gave her philanderous intentions but was not forceful like her uncle. So it never happened again there. Working from job to job till she got married.  On night she got drunk. Because she lost hope in herself; she let her ex do whatever he wanted with her.  She became pregnant so they shot gunned it.

We rented a large townhouse in Santa Rosa, Laguna.  We had to pay six months in advance.  Philippines Pesos thirty six thousand or seven hundred  twenty  United States Dollars  for six months or one hundred and twenty United States Dollars  a month. Filipinos have avoidance to hot water. So I had to pay Philippines Pesos seven thousand or one hundred forty dollars for a portable hot water heater.

Daily I would watch Dora the Explorer with Mutyah on my lap.  Teachers made between Philippines Pesos six thousand to Pesos fifteen thousand in the Philippines.  So there was no incentive to get a job. Even though Noeme was still married; we convinced the United States Embassy to give Noeme a tourist visa.  It took these six months to obtain the visa.

We had the six months to get to know each other without a job to interfere with our relationship.   Living in America, China seems far away but when you live in the Philippines, going to China is like someone in Los Angles going to Denver.  Living in Asia can be like living in America.  The Cable TV stations are the same here.  And also Asians are seduced by Korean Soap Opera dubbed in their languages.

Noeme wanted a sari sari store from the downstairs of our townhouse. The kitchen –parlor opened up to a store of food and household products. I funded the venture.

I would watch cable TV.  Most cable channels broadcasted in English from recognized companies like Disney, Discovery, CNN, Fox News Channel, Turner Classic Movies and National Geographic. others not by Americans but still showing American program: Stars and AXN. There’s always been a Filipino English broadcast station: RPN.

While watching television I would occasionally formulate audibly articles I would later compose on my computer.  I would get too en
thusiastic which caused me to raise the volume of my voice.  It panicked the crowded neighborhood. This unsettled Noeme, who associated talking to oneself with craziness. The fact is everybody talks to themselves. It is just that no one will admit it; preferring to condemn others then they do it themselves.

The military industrial complex purposely crashed the economy.  They did this to put a strain on state, county, city government so these governments could not fund its employee benefits.  By eliminating this funding, they striped the power of the unions.  The military Industrial complex diverted attention from their own malfeasants and drew attention to the public employee benefits won by unions. The irony is that these unions are private entities fighting against state controlled exploitation.  Big business is using the government to oppress the common people.  They are using the government to prevent private organizations of the common people (unions) to be a collective force to oppose the tyranny of the state that is in the control of Big business and the Military industrial complex.  Therefore, unions are capitalistic and Big Business and the Military Industrial complex are socialistic.

They claimed that he Unions, and not them, caused the financial hardships on these governments' budgets. They say that financial soundness will be restored to the state when collective bargaining is eliminated. They pretended that unions do not serve their members.

The Great Recession is a fake!  It was contrived by Congress and Wall Street to destroy workers’ rights and rip off the America
n consumers.  Wall Street and Congress are part the Military Industrial complex. This complex is conspiring to force higher prices, thus reaping more profit for itself. This is not inflation.  It is price gouging.

Even though most big companies are generating sound profits, they still continue to lay off workers; forcing the remaining workers
to take up the slack, created by the lay off workers, with no increase, even decrease in pay.  The complex has eroded the time and half for overtime laws. Meantime, senior executives are making a killing off of their workers’ hardship. The reason these workers accept these criminal working conditions is because these corporations have instilled the fear of layoffs.

The fair reason for layoffs is to prevent company's incomes losses; not to generate profits to an obscene level.

This obscene activity is unhealthy for the United States' economy.     The reason for this is that these millions of laid off workers of cannot buy consumer goods, except the bare necessities. This causes the United States' consumer base to be destroyed. Eventually the United States GROSS NATIONAL PRODUCT will plummet thus making the United States deficit even more severe. Yet, the complex does not care about the economy.  The billionaire speculators, who control it, see only profits; at their own corporations and the country’s destruction.

Despite what they say, every member of Congress works day and night to increase unemployment.  They are determined to raise unempl
oyment to eighteen per cent.  They want fewer workers to do more work, at more hours, for less pay.   With a smaller demand, the corporations will make less effort to produce.  Each company will collude with other companies to set higher prices. Thus selling the less demanded goods for higher prices; hence price gouging—not inflation.

This is why the complex wants to destroy unions, both private and public. The complex blames the high cost of employment on unions. They say they need to cut back on excessive healthcare and pensions, which have been unduly imposed on them by the unions through collective bargaining.  This is a fabrication by the complex to maintain their large profit margin. The complex should shrink they large profit margin to a more reasonable level and absorb the cost of these benefits for their workers. This shrinkage will strengthen the United States economy because these workers will be more productive. They also will be able to buy more and buy more non desgressionary consumer goods.

Wall Street banks are preventing loans to eliminate supply to keep profits higher.  If they did loan to small businesses, small businesses will create more supply which would bring prices down. Thus ridding the Complex of its price gouging   Congress is on killer rampage to destroy small businesses.

Reaganeconomic have finally destroyed the United States economy. Congress should restore all the regulations that existed in nineteen eighty one.  This would open up the economy to more fair competition. The fact is, Congress has rescinded most laws passed during President Franklin D. Roosevelt's administration.

In nineteen seventy eight, John Sperling, a venture capitalist, established the University of Phoenix.  It was the first For-Profit University.  Coincidentally, a few years later President Reagan scaled down government funded university grants.  He decided it would be more effective if students took out government guaranteed loans to pay their college tuition and expenses.  This is another derivative.   This program is to set up for the student to fail.  Remember, the easiest way to make money is to bet the investment is going to fail.  Now the investment is a student’s education.  But a for-profit University can make more profit if they can flunk a student early and keep the tuition.   If a student fails he or she still must pay the loan back.  What the banks want is that the student to default on the loan.  Then, they can collect from the government on the defaulted loan and then sue the student until the student pays back. A double return.  This loan can never be discharged by bankruptcy.

Marxism is just another form of Capitalism.  Marxism has two fundamental flaws.  The first is the Proletariat will never act like management. That is, the Proletariat will never exploit the working class when they attained political control over the national government. The second flaw is that elimination of private property will automatically eliminate greed throughout Humankind.

According Marxism, an absolute proletariat totalitarian state must first come about to begin the purge of all sin.  This totalitarian state must achieve global domination.   Everyone in the world must submit to this global domination.  When worldwide domination is achieved and all private property is eliminated then all the leaders of the totalitarian state will happily give up their positions of power and live out their lives sharing on these communes till the end of their days.  Everybody automatically will live sinless on these communes forever.

What was just described in the previous paragraph is stupid.  People are not going to live without greed or power lust just because there is no private property. The Proletariat elites are going to hoard public property.  The Proletariat elites are going to exploit the masses for their own gain.  In every example of when a country becomes Marxist, this is exactly what happens. It is just like Capitalism.  The Proletariat is just another name for capitalist. Because they do exactly what capitalists do.  There is only one possible economic system and that is Capitalism.  Socialism is Capitalism.  Feudalism is Capitalism.  We cannot escape Capitalism.  Because all these economic system, whether run by government or by private enterprise, are going to do the same thing. The elite will always exploit the masses. How can the government be the governed: if it is made up private individual who are always looking out for their own self-interest.  The purists of Marxism and Socialism said if the people in the government are following their own self-interest they are not doing Marxism or socialism. It is impossible for Marxism to be done right. And History proves this.  They are all capitalist.

The only solution is a capitalist economic system based on production with reasonable profit, and limited speculation.  Just like the government regulates social malice behavior {it punishes people who commit murder, theft, assault, rape, kidnapping} it should regulate economic malice behavior.  To say the market should not be regulated, is like saying society can regulate itself without the justice system or the government.
