"I find it very arousing."

"I'll have to show you my collection of oriental artifacts." Randall groaned as Jason nudged the candlestick again.

"Sometime, yes. But for now…" With a twist of his wrist he withdrew the object and tossed it to the side. Before it clattered to the floor he had the head of his prick pressed tight to the stretched hole and pushed with all his might to lodge it deep within.

Randall cried out, face contorted with pleasure as his body gave way and Jason slid home, buried to his balls in Randall's tight sheath. "Oh fuck, that's so good. Randy, you're squeezing me so tight."

He lifted Randall by the buttocks, the man's thighs fell open, and his thickening prick was on display. "You feel so good inside me, Jason. Nothing feels like you. There's no replacement."

Jason grunted, muscles quivering as he held himself still. Blood throbbed in his groin, his ears fairly pulsed with its hot flow. "Stroke yourself, Randy. I want to see you come around me."

Randall obeyed instantly, and Jason moved cautiously. Thrusting as fast as he dared without sending himself over the edge too soon. He was determined to bring Randall to his second orgasm before he let fly his own seed. They rocked together, Jason timing his thrusts, gauging Randall's arousal through the tension in his muscles as he grunted and moaned with effort.

He gritted his teeth against the allure of the velvet flesh clinging to his rod, the clenching muscles rippling around his length. He thrust, shifted, and thrust again, driving in sure and deep. Randy gasped, his body seized. Clear drops splattered from the reddened head of his cock as he beat himself furiously.

"Yes," Jason forced the words out, neck straining as he drove forward again, striking that same tender spot. Randall convulsed around him, shouting his name again as a trickle of seed spilled from his tip and smoothed his stroking hand. Jason closed his eyes and sucked in a deep breath redolent with the scent of seed and sweat and Randall.

Gripping his lover's hips tightly, Jason jerked, plunging in over and over as fire burned through his veins, tension exploding in the base of spine and sending him over into the throes of his own orgasm as Randall clenched and shuddered beneath him. Warm seed coated his path, gushed from him in a pent up flow that attested to the power of the moment.

He froze, pulsing more cum into his lover's quivering depths as Randy's hand fell away from his limp cock and he gave a satisfied sigh. Jason lowered his hips to the bed and withdrew slowly from the warm cradle of his lover's body.

His breath dragged harshly over parted lips as he stared down at his sated lover. Warm pleasure coursed through his veins, comprised of comfort and care and as much due to Randall's presence as the appeasement of his lust.

"I love you." He dropped to Randall's side and took his lips in a tender kiss before the man could respond.

Chapter Seventeen

Randal sighed deeply and melted back into the blankets. His earlier embarrassment had faded, he felt replete and satisfied. His worries faded into the distance as he took in Jason's shy smile and inquiring gaze. "I love you, too." His voice rumbled for the depths of his being, solemn and full of intent. "I do not say that lightly, I know you have not much experience of men who are trustworthy, or honorable. If you would be give me the chance, I can prove that I will be that man, for you."

Regret over the incident in Tor clawed at his being, and he lurched upright to cup Jason's strong jaw in his palm. "I cannot apologize enough for the way events unfolded when last we met."

Jason me this gaze, steady and sure. He took Randall's hand in his own and turned his face to brush his lips over the palm. "I was as much at fault as you. I can be single minded of purpose and somewhat selfish."

"You aren't selfish." Randall replied fiercely. No one, least of all the man himself, should malign the man he loved in his presence without suffering the consequences. "I cannot argue against the nobility of your purpose, just the morality of it."

"Morality?" Jason cast a sardonic glance at the sprawl of their naked limbs. "What we have just done here is as immoral as murder according to the laws you revere."

"I am aware. However, I have come to the conclusion that such stringent morality is wrong. We have," he continued, "the right to love and be loved regardless of other people's morality."

"You do not mind the chance of being ostracized by society? What will your family say?"

"My father himself told me that."

A frown marred Jason's brow as he burrowed closer to Randall on the bed. "I have a different morality than the aristocracy of your country. I am not enamored of laws that keep the lower classes low, and enrich the upper. I value justice over jurisprudence, and that will not change."

There was no challenge in his statement, just a declaration of who this man he loved was at his core. "I understand that, Jason. I do not in fact object to it. The issue at heart was not that I did not believe in your cause, but that my own honor was duty bound to a different cause." He heaved a deep breath. "I know you cannot forgive me for having you incarcerated in that hell hole of a prison, but can you overlook it enough to realize that it will forever serve as a learning point for me?"

"You did your duty, as it was dictated by your oaths. I was angry, yes, I cannot deny that. For a full day I spent my ire on loathing you and contemplating revenge." It was Jason's turn to sigh and Randall snuggled into his lover, petting the smooth haired chest.

"You could have been hanged, and it would have been all my fault. I don't know what I would have done if you had been found guilty."

His head rocked with Jason's full laugh. "I don't think that ever would have happened. There was a prisoner in with me, an American. He apparently has quite a bit of money and influence, enough to buy us a private room and a decent food. Why, they even allowed the fellow to keep his cheroots!"

"I will seek him out this American. I owe him a debt of gratitude for his generosity surely saved your life." Randall closed his eyes, remembering the misery of believing that he would be instrumental in Jason's death, either by the inmates of Dartmoor or hanging.

"I think," Jason mused, lying down on the bed and tugging Randall against his side. "That the issue at heart was that we should have put more faith in your prig of a brother."

"Perry?" Randall sat up and stared down at his lover. "I sent word to him. I have always loved him, but I have never appreciated his character until he sent back that message that he'd take care of it all."

"And he heard me out and told me the same thing." Jason's eyes fogged with memory. "I swear, he's always struck me as a cold hearted bastard, but I swear his face froze and his eyes were like ice chips. Randy, I almost felt sorry for the mastermind behind this scheme when your brother ferrets him out."

Randall's breath caught in his throat and he swallowed. Choosing his words with care, he ventured, "You are giving up your quest for revenge then?"

"I'm retired. It is no longer my duty to seek revenge." Jason's jaw clenched and he gazed steadfastly at the window for a minute before meeting Randall's gaze again. "I will not put you in the position of choosing between me and your duty again."

Sagging with relief, Randall pressed a kiss to the flesh nearest his lips. His heartbeat a little stronger, his scattered emotions solidified. "I will never choose duty over you again."

Jason's brow furrowed. "What have you done, Randy?"

"I resigned my commission." It had seemed the most logical option. Jason's occupation hadn't offended his personal sensibilities, but he'd had every reason to expect that their careers might create more conflict between them.

Jason pushed him away and jerked upright.  "You did that for me?"

"More like I did it for me." He grimaced. When he put it into words, it made him sound like the veriest green lad. "I want you. I hoped you would come back for me, and when you did, I wanted to be free to go with you."

"Go?" Bewilderment colored his words. "Where are we going?"

"I thought you would be returning to Paris. I intended to invite myself to go with you."

"You would have placed yourself in danger on my behalf?"

"I made you promises, Jason. I meant them."

He was seized in a firm grip and kissed with ruthless intent. Panting, he fell back on the bed and pulled Jason down with him. Their mouths clung together with a ferocious hunger that his previous orgasms had done little to appease. Jason's touch fired his senses anew, but the lowering sun told him their time in the little cottage was done. "Jason, I have to go back to the house. Cecy will worry."

A fleeting frown crossed Jason's face. "She didn't appear pleased to see me this afternoon."

"Well, she thinks you broke my heart, you see." Randal rubbed his thumb over Jason's lips.

"Did I?" The intent gaze made his heart ache.

"Have I been remiss? Did I fail to tell you how much I love you? How devastated I was by your absence, by your decision to go to Paris instead of coming back here?"

"I had to go to Paris so I
could
return here." Jason insisted, crossing his arms defensively over his chest.

"You didn't tell me ever that you had any intention of returning." Randall chided. "All I had were memories and hope and Perry's order not to bother you."

"I most certainly did tell you I'd meet you back here…" Jason rolled him under him again, crushing his frame into the mattress with his bulkier body.

"That was before. You left one place of danger and ran directly to another. I couldn't help but worry that whoever had started the job on your last visit to Paris would discover that you still lived and complete the task."

"And still you planned to return to Paris with me if I were sent back?"

"I intended to watch your back."

He choked back a laugh at Jason's horrified expression. "I am a trained soldier, you know. I can shoot, fence, and strategize just like any of the men on the front. Just ask Perry, or even Harold. I promise you, I am not so easily rendered incapable as it might seem."

"My experience with you…"

"It doesn't matter. You're retired. I've resigned. The only reason we'll be in Paris is to drink wine and socialize with people of loose morals."

"We'll be together. You have it all worked out, then."

Doubt stilled his hands, which had been working their way over Jason's body. "I assumed."

"There's just one problem."

"What's that?"

"If neither of us is employed, how will we finance this excursion?"

His cheeks warmed and he let his eyelids close. This was tricky. Jason was a proud man, and the whole family knew that he had refused to touch the money Randall's uncle had set aside for him. "I have money. Plenty for us to travel anywhere we'd like to go."

"I will not be your kept man." Jason snorted. They rose from the bed and began tugging on clothing in silence. Finally he spoke, breaking the tension. "I have money as well. From the man who might be my father. I swore I'd never touch it, but I considered using it to further my revenge. I might as well put it to a more pleasant use."

Randall stared at his lover, thoughtfully. "So we travel on the continent?"

Jason nodded determinedly. "The continentals are more forgiving of those who love as we do."
