“Mark me, babe. Show me you like this,” he rasped against her throat.

Morgan writhed on his lap. “I do.”

He pinched one nipple in his fingers, then sucked on the other. Her taste exploded on his tongue. God. What a woman! She tasted like cinnamon and sex. He nuzzled her breasts. Could a man get lost learning the dips and valleys of his woman?

If she were his. All his.

“I need more of you.” He nudged her back on his lap long enough to unleash his cock. The zipper bit into his skin, and he groaned as he parted the stretched denim. Her gaze vacillated between his dick and his eyes. Morgan curled her fingers around him and stroked.

Pleasure exploded at the base of his brain, and he rocked on the couch, thrusting in her hands. “Jesus.”

“My name is Morgan.” She grinned, then hiked her skirt past her hips. Trip slid his fingers between her pussy lips and caressed the satin skin. One finger, then two went into her wet heat. When she shuddered and clamped her muscles on him, he groaned.

“More.” She scooted forward and lined his cock up with her cunt. “Hard.”

“Yeah.” Damn. She frazzled his thoughts and had him talking in one-word answers. No other woman did that to him—just her. God, he loved her. Trip pushed the extra fabric of her skirt aside and touched her soft hips.

Morgan swayed on his lap, fucking herself on him. Sweat shone on her mocha skin, and she glistened like a goddess in the sunshine. Trip leaned forward and dragged his tongue between her breasts. Just to stay there, right there inside her forever—that’s what he wanted.

“Trip.”

He gripped her hips and pushed deep into her pussy. “I don’t know where I end and you begin.” Using the floor and the back of the couch as leverage, he thrust until he worked himself into a perfect rhythm. Groans rumbled in his throat. She wrapped her arms around his neck, holding him close.

Morgan trembled, and her tiny whimpers filled the room. “So close.”

“Then let go.” God knew she had him on a damned hair trigger. His balls ached, and desire raced up and down his spine. “Need you, babe.”

“Right. Here,” she blurted and tipped her head back. “Oh.”

Trip clutched her to his chest and gave in to the orgasm. From his head to his toes, his body shook, and stars exploded behind his eyes. Never let her go, that was what he’d do. She meant the world to him. Nothing mattered but her.

Now to convince her to stick around forever.

Five

Morgan snuggled tight to his chest. Double the sex in one night and with the sexiest man she knew. A girl could only be so lucky, and she’d take all the luck coming her way. Who was she kidding? She loved him. Parting would suck, but she’d accept whatever fate had in store for them. Trip meant too much to walk away.

“Holy shit.” Trip rested his head on the back of the couch. “Either you were that eager or I’m convenient. Either way, I don’t care.”

“You’re right.” She knew him too well. He cared more than he admitted, and that was what she wanted. She needed him to care about her. Needed him to be there for her. He’d been the one to listen and worry about her more than anyone. Sex wasn’t the deal-breaker, but the dealmaker.

“Okay, I lied. I care.” He closed his eyes and grabbed her hand. “I figured convenient, but fucking hell. This is why I don’t do Valentine’s Day. Why I hate love. I get my hopes up and my heart involved and for what—”

Morgan rocked forward and silenced him with a kiss. Go figure he’d fly off the handle. He needed to hear the rest of what she wanted to say. She wrapped her arms around his neck. “You did it for me and I loved it.”

“What?”

“You’re right.” Tears spilled from her eyes faster than she could hold the emotions back. “You’re the one for me. I—I didn’t want to look weak or like I wanted your money. You’re the reason I came to work here at Club56. You’re like a god, and I’m just me.” And God, it felt good to admit the truth. Her heart soared in her chest, and her spirits buoyed.

“You’re perfect to me.” Trip threaded his fingers into her hair and rested his forehead on hers. “You’re the one I want.” He kissed her cheeks, chin, then settled on her lips. “Love you.”

“Wish I’d figured it out a little faster.” She licked her lips, tasting the salt from his kiss.

“You’re here now.” He kissed her again, this time lingering and swiping his tongue over her bottom lip. “And one of these times I’ll make love to you in my bed.”

“What about tonight?” She leaned back in his arms, then retied the strings of her dress. Morgan flattened her hands on his chest. “This couch is nice, but it’s not comfy like a bed.”

“Don’t fuck with my head, Morgan.” He rubbed her hands. “I’m on the edge, here. One wrong word, and you’ll rip my heart to shreds.”

No more pain, no more heartache. “I’ve been more than a little in love with you since the moment I met you. You’ve shown me I’m an attractive woman. You made my Valentine’s Day complete more than I ever expected.” More than she’d ever dreamed.

“I don’t think I’ll ever get enough of you, Morgan. Don’t push me away again.”

“I’m not. I’m holding on so tight. I love you, Trip. Take me home so we can initiate your bed.” Morgan slid off his lap and severed the connection. Her skirt slipped back into place, and she gasped to catch her breath. “Let’s go.” She tapped her foot and folded her arms, faking irritation. “Trip.”

“God, I love you, Morgan.” Trip stuffed his cock back into his pants, then fished around his pocket for something. Probably his phone.

“Better zip before you forget.” She nodded to his lower half.

“I will.” He pulled the phone from his pocket, pressed buttons, then held the device to his ear. “Lace, you’re closing tonight. I’ll be busy.”

He held the phone away from his ear as a shriek resounded through the room.

Morgan sank down on his lap and grinned. “She’s happy.”

“I think she approves.” Trip grinned and pocketed his phone. He rubbed her back in wide circles. “Ready? Valentine’s Day doesn’t have to end at midnight.”

“That was more than two hours ago, anyway.”

“Minor technicality.” He shrugged, then patted her ass. “We can make whatever day we want Valentine’s Day if you’re ready to take a chance with me.”

“I love you, Trip. I’m so ready.”
